IMPORTANT! This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working. You must use this method using the wordpress plugin uploader on some hosts produces header errors.

1. Please unzip and upload the "Real FTP Upload" directory to your '/wp-content/plugins/' directory...
2. NOTE: There are reports that wordpress 4.1 plugin uploader is corrupting this plugin. Please use step 1 only

' on the wordpress page to display the upload form.
5. Configure your ftp server account settings, email notification settings and acceptable file extension settings in the dashboard under Settings>Real FTP Upload Settings. File extensions should contain no spaces IE "pdf.,jpeg.,zip" a comma separating each extension.

That's It!

Please note that the user on the FTP server that is to receive the uploaded files, must be configured to provide full permissions. That user must be able to create directories in the ftp folder as well as delete files (in case a client want's to overwrite that file with a newer version. Failure to configure the ftp user to create directories will result in the plugin not capable of working. You can test this using any ftp client.
